Still writing..

In May, 2018, I had a dream that inspired a new story idea. I wrote the details down into a journal. An idea for a book had sparked a new writing interest. I was going to call it I AM I. For months, I added to that journal to develop a story.

My sister made a book cover that seemed to call to me and looked perfect for the book, so I bought it from her. She had put the name “Twisted Memories” on the cover and so I changed the name of my book because it was better and simply fit the story. It’s been sitting for two years, waiting to be used.

According to my writing app, I started “Twisted Memories” June 7, 2018 and wrote 18,571 words from 6pm-10pm. That following Saturday another 6,265 words. I wrote June 10, 16, 25, and ended July 2, 2018. By then, I had written 34,743 words of the story. Today, thanks for the Coronovirus Pandemic giving me much more time to write, the novel now has 138,219 words! I have decided to make it a two-book series called SWITCHED: PARALLEL WORLD SERIES. Each of the books has a new name and it will be revealed at a later date.

I want to remember that I had wanted to write a book based on that dream I had in 2018 and I feel so good that the first draft is written. What a great accomplishment.
